A spectacular adventure
I had such a great time with View Peru! I went on this adventure with my parents and sister, feeling slightly intimidated by the idea of the hike. Adrian was extremely helpful, always available to answer our questions and share his local perspective. He was so friendly and made us feel comfortable and well-prepared throughout the trip.
After the first day of the hike, my mom and sister fell ill. Thankfully, our assistant guide, Cesar, guided them back to the start of the trail and arranged accommodations until we reunited at Machu Picchu at the end of the hike.
While my dad and I continued the hike, we enjoyed fantastic meals prepared by our cook, Fausto, and assistant cook, Ciriaco. They served multiple courses and even adjusted dishes to meet our preferences.
Our waiter, Abraham, was incredibly friendly and even brought coffee to our tents each morning. After long days of hiking, we had the luxury of daily massages from Aide. She did an excellent job, and both my dad and I felt noticeably less sore the next morning, even after hiking for eight hours the previous day.
The porters were incredible, always greeting us warmly as we crossed paths on the trail. It was amazing to see how they carried everything needed to make the hike so seamless. The head porter, Valeriano, led the team.
Overall, this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. View Peru made it feel like a luxurious trip tailored specifically to us!

Outstanding!
We had an outstanding adventure thanks to View Peru.
The communication prior to our trip was very helpful for setting up hotels, day excursions from Cusco and knowing what to expect on the Inca Trail.
Our family of 4 took part in the luxury 4-day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
Our guide Adrian Jimenez, was knowledge, kind and very supportive. Being a local, he was able to share first-hand information about the people and culture which allowed us insight that may not have been available with other tour companies. Adrian takes pride in his work and in making sure you have the best experience. I would highly recommend asking for him by name. Unfortunately, one of my daughters and I got sick and had to cut our trail time. Adrian and View Peru were able to quickly pivot and make alternate plans for us.
Our assistant guide Cesar and porter Andrea were so attentive in making sure we got off the trail safely and to a hotel to rest. Andrea, who was already carrying all our duffels, offered to carry our packs since we were not feeling well. Cesar gave us his personal cell number to reach out if we needed anything.
We are forever thankful for the care and compassion they showed us.
My husband and other daughter continued on the trail and enjoyed gourmet meals prepared by very talented Fausto and Ciriaco and served by Abraham.
Each night they had relaxing messages from Aide. Valeriano and his team of porters were amazing in running ahead, setting up the camp site and taking it all back down again.
It was incredible the food and accommodations View Peru provides in the middle of the Andes mountains.
We can not say enough good things about View Peru and their team. If you are consider an Inca Trail trip, you will be glad you did it. Going with View Peru will assure a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you to the entire View Peru team for the wonderful care, service and experience they created for us.
