  • Program Schedule: (Please note that the below timings are for referential purposes only and may vary depending on train schedules, your physical condition, pace and unforeseen circumstances)

  • Please consider that our prices from 2 people onward are based on double and triple accommodation, if you would like to have a single tent then the supplement will be of $ 489.00 per person.

  • Train stations and train schedules are subject to availability, also due to rainy season Poroy train station is closed from January to April of each year.

  • The walking sticks are not included, but if you prefer we can arrange to provide you a pair of basic poles (Standard Brand) without any charges; you just need to ask in advance to your travel specialist.

  • If you would like to climb to Huayna Picchu Mountain, please take in mind that is an unguided hike, require an additional cost and involve starting the hike at 03:00 am on the 4th day. If you are interested, please consult with your travel specialist as we need to check availability far in advance.

Itinerary: Ausangate Trek

DAY 1 Cusco – Tinqui Village – Upis (CAMPING AT HOT SPRINGS)

“Start your adventure in Cusco with an early transfer at 6:00 am. Travel for 4 hours to Tinqui, passing the impressive Urcos Pass (4,000 m). Begin your hike on an ascending trail to the northwest of the majestic Ausangate. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the roadside and continue onward between fields and stone houses. Arrive at Upis pass (4,435 m) and camp at the Upis Hot Springs (4,250 m), surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Enjoy happy hour at 4:00 pm and dinner at 6:00 pm.
Distance: 16 km/9.9 miles (6 hours trekking)

DAY 2 Upis Ausangatecocha

Next morning, rise early and boost your energy with traditional coca leaf tea. Ascend 2 hours to Puka Pass (4,870m), marveling at turquoise lagoons and glaciers.
