Program Schedule: Please note that the itinerary below is for reference only, and is subject to change based on train schedules, your physical condition, pace, and any unforeseen circumstances.

Accommodations: Our prices for two or more guests are based on double or triple occupancy per tent. If you prefer a single tent, an additional supplement of $489.00 will apply.

Train Stations and Schedules: Please be aware that train stations and schedules are subject to change based on availability. Additionally, due to rain, the Poroy train station is closed from January to the end of April each year, our friendly staff will meet and escort you from the Ollantaytambo train station.

Walking sticks are included for your convenience, ensuring added support and comfort during your glamping adventure. Note: walking sticks are not permitted at Machu Picchu in order to preserve this iconic site.

No Permits Needed: No restrictions on permits, making it a great option for those who missed out on Inca Trail reservations.

Day 1 - Cusco – Soraypampa – Soyrococha (L, D)

Adventure Awaits! Immerse Yourself in Breathtaking Landscapes while Exploring the Rich Culture and History of the Andes.

Begin your luxurious adventure through Peru’s breathtaking landscapes! After breakfast, meet your guide for a private transfer to Soraypampa (3,920 m / 12,861 ft.) to start your trek. Optionally, enjoy a 3-hour round-trip hike to Humantay Lake, simply tell your guide ahead of time. Trek through a stunning valley with panoramic views of the snow-capped Salkantay and Humantay peaks. At Salkantaypampa (4,154 m / 13,628 ft.), savor a gourmet lunch, then continue to our luxury campsite at Soyrococha (4,480 m / 14,698 ft.),

Upon reaching Soyrococha, gather for the “Ofrenda a la Madre Tierra.” This is a powerful ceremony where we express our gratitude and reverence for Pachamama, the Mother Earth.

Afterwards, treat yourself to a revitalizing hot shower and a soothing massage amidst the serene natural surroundings. Choose from personalized à la carte treatments—from deep muscle relief to hot stones and aromatherapy—all available to help rejuvenate the body and soul.

End the day with a succulent dinner, prepared from organic, fresh, and local ingredients. After dinner, retreat to your heated bedroom tent and drift off under the twinkling Peruvian stars.

Day 2 - Soyrococha - Collpapampa (B, L, D)

The Challenges and Rewards of the Andes: Salkantay Pass

Enjoy a nourishing breakfast before beginning a challenging and rewarding day on the Salkantay Trek. Ascend to Salkantay Pass (4,638 m / 14,330 ft.), where you’ll toast with champagne beneath the towering Salkantay Mountain. For seasoned hikers, an optional hike to Salkantaycocha showcases lush, unique vegetation. Afterward, descend for 3.5 hours to Wayracmachay (3,906 m / 12,814 ft.) for a gourmet lunch, spotting Andean condors, hummingbirds, and vibrant flora along the way.

By late afternoon, we’ll arrive at our idyllic Collpapampa campsite (2,870 m / 9,416 ft) nestled in Peru’s enchanting cloud forest. At our campsite, indulge in a hot shower and a relaxing massage or spa treatment. For dinner you’ll be treated to an authentic Pachamanca, a traditional Peruvian feast that dates back to pre-Inca times. This tender and flavorful meal, infused with the rich earthiness of the land and a gourmet twist, will be prepared by our expert culinary team. While you feast, our knowledgeable guide will share captivating legends passed down through generations, bringing to life the ancient beliefs of Inca Gods, mountain spirits, and the powerful forces of Pachamama (Mother Earth).

Embark on a 5-hour hike, descending into a magical cloud forest teeming with orchids, bromeliads, and exotic flora. Pass through secluded valleys with coffee, cacao, and fruit plantations, and explore farming villages like Wiñaypoco and Lluscamayo. Interact with local families, learn about their lifestyle, and gain insight into traditional Andean culture. Arrive at Playa Sahuayaco campsite, where a gourmet lunch awaits. Unwind with a rejuvenating spa treatment and stargaze under the pristine night sky, weather permitting. As night falls, relish the tranquility of the surroundings and reflect on the day’s adventures. Day 4 - Playa Sahuayaco - Llaqtapata - Hydroelectric - Aguas Calientes (B, L, D)

The Final Ascent of the Luxury Glamping Salkantay Trek

Today calls for your greatest effort on the final leg of the Salkantay Trek. Start with a 5:00 am breakfast, then take a private ride to Lucmabamba (2,062 m / 6,765 ft.) to begin the authentic Inca Trail. Hike 3.5 hours uphill through lush vegetation to the Llactapata ruins, where you’ll enjoy your first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu. After lunch at the Llactapata Lodge Viewpoint, descend 2 hours to the Hydroelectric train station for a scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, settle into your luxury hotel, enjoy dinner, and finalize plans for your magical visit to Machu Picchu.

At the designated time, board the shuttle bus with your guide for an unforgettable journey to the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu. Accompanied by your expert guide, you’ll immerse yourself in the rich history and intriguing theories surrounding this iconic Inca citadel. Take your time soaking in the magic of this world wonder and capturing unforgettable photos. For those seeking more adventure, an optional hike up Huayna Picchu or Montaña Machu Picchu offers dramatic views from above, though this addition must be selected ahead of time.

After exploring, enjoy a satisfying lunch in one of Aguas Calientes’ finest restaurants. Later, board the Luxury Hiram Bingham Train (Supreme Luxury) or Vistadome train (Luxury and Select) for a scenic return journey. Upon arrival at the train station, a friendly staff member will escort you to your hotel in Cusco, where you can relax and reflect on your extraordinary adventure.
