Quarry Inca Trail

If you are seeking for an isolated trail plastered of legitimate Inca archaeological complexes, wide variety of Andean flora and fauna, challenging Mountain passes and perfect photos, then this program is ideal for you! 

Throughout the route you will be able to explore ceremonial centers as Choquekilla or Golden Moon, visit typical communities as Socma, natural wonders like Perolniyoc waterfall or the mighty Buena Negra Pass, and picture the impressive methods which the Incas used to move huge rocks from the Cachicata quarry to Ollantaytambo town. All of these treasures are hidden inside the heart of our Mother Earth Pachamama and waiting to be rediscovered by an adventurer person like you. Undoubtedly, these unforgettable experiences will be very present in your best Cusco memories.

The first day, prepare and get strong for this intense start.  We will go from Cusco to Perolniyoc waterfall up to Rayanniyoc.  Starting with a very early breakfast will be transferred tour trekking start point, the Socma community

The trek starts uphill for 1.5 hours toward Perolniyoc Waterfall. Then continue for another hour until reaching the archaeological site of Raqaypata.The luxury campsite is 15 minutes away, Rayanniyoc (3680 m. / 12073.5 ft.) to enjoy lunch. Enjoy your free time and join us in a yoga session. After this rewarding experience, return to our campsite and relish with a hot shower and a session of relaxing massages. Visit our dining tent for an organic gourmet dinner and rest with the magical silence of nature in your private luxury heated bedroom tent.

The second day we will have sunrises, Andean agricultural techniques, extraordinary views in our way to the Sun gate up to Choquetacarpo. Being the first sunrise in our campsite, we will rise early for breakfast. We will continue the walk for 4 hours to reach the top of the first pass and learn about the advanced agriculture techniques. Once we reach Puccaqasa Pass (4400 m. / 14435.7 ft), we will appreciate the view of the whole valley. We will have lunch in our exclusive place in the Andes.

Later, we will continue for 2 hours more until Buena Negra pass. We will be rewarded with terrific views of the Sacred Valley, small lakes and imposing peaks of Veronica or Waqay Willka. Time to cheer as it is the highest point of the trek!

Then, we will begin the 2.5 hours descent towards Inti Punku or Sun Gate with spectacular views of the lush flora and picturesque valley ahead. Reach our last luxury campsite, Choquetacarpo.  We will enjoy a well-deserved hot shower and soothing massages. Then, it is time for our delicate gourmet dinner and have a soundly sleep.

In our third day we will have just a little more effort, descents, discover fortresses and continue towards the most anticipated, we will go from Choquetacarpo to Aguas Calientes

After breakfast, prepare for our last portion of the hike in a 1-hour hike, have a unique view of the Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo. Once we reach Cachicata quarry a time travel starts as your guide explains the past of this haunting piece of Inca architecture. Following this enlightening visit, continue descending for 3.5 hours and reach Ollantaytambo town. We have to say goodbye and thank the trekking crew for all of the outstanding quality service. Then, we will have a delectable lunch at a cozy restaurant. We will continue boarding our Vistadome train to arrive at Aguas Calientes Town. We will be escorted to the hotel of our selection.

Finally, we will coordinate with our guide the pick-up time for the following day delighting with a well-deserved dinner (included with your accommodation)

Our fourth day is the dreamed day. We have come to enjoy and discover the magnificent and mystery of the Most incredible citadel in the Americas

Early in the morning, our guide will pick us up from our hotel to catch the bus to the citadel for a 30 mins ride and, if weather allows it, see the sunrise over this Lost City of the Incas.

Welcome to Machu Picchu, the true evidence of the Incas dexterity in engineering and architecture. It shows a magnificent citadel hidden on the mountains and the vast valleys. 

To end our time at Machu Picchu, we will enjoy a delightful lunch at a deluxe restaurant. Later, thew train waits for our return to Cusco. Once there, our concierge will collect us in our private vehicle and take us to the hotel in Cusco.
