  • Program Schedule: (Please note that the below timings are for referential purposes only and may vary depending on train schedules, your physical condition, pace and unforeseen circumstances)
  • Please consider that our prices from 2 people onward are based on double and triple accommodation, if you would like to have a single tent then the supplement will be of $ 489.00 per person.
  • Train stations and train schedules are subject to availability, also due to rainy season Poroy train station is closed from January to April of each year.
  • The walking sticks are not included, but if you prefer we can arrange to provide you a pair of basic poles (Standard Brand) without any charges; you just need to ask in advance to your travel specialist.
  • If you would like to climb to Huayna Picchu Mountain, please take in mind that is an unguided hike, require an additional cost and involve starting the hike at 03:00 am on the 4th day. If you are interested, please consult with your travel specialist as we need to check availability far in advance.

Itinerary: Luxury Salkantay Trek Tour – 5 Days

Day 1 Cusco – Soraypampa - Soyrococha (L, D)

“Embark on an unforgettable adventure in Cusco, the Inca Empire’s heart. Journey to Soraypampa (3.5 hrs) and explore Humantay Lake (optional). Hike through breathtaking valleys with panoramic views of snow-capped peaks (200 mins). Marvel at Salkantay (6271m) and Humantay (5862m) mountains. Arrive at Salkantaypampa for lunch, then hike to Soyrococha luxury campsite (2.5 hrs). Unwind with a spa treatment, savor gourmet dinner, and stargaze under the pristine night sky. Retire to your heated tent.
 

Day 2 Soyrococha – Salkantay pass – Collpapampa (B, L, D)

Rise early for a breathtaking sunrise, marking the start of an unforgettable day. Hike to Salkantay Pass (1.5 hrs), surrounded by majestic landscapes and the imposing Salkantay Mountain. Celebrate with champagne and a spiritual session. Descend to Wayracmachay (3.5 hrs) for lunch, then journey to Collpapampa campsite (4 hrs), passing through Andenes and Chaullay, home to vibrant orchids and bromeliads. Day 3 Ccollpapampa – Lluscamayo – Playa Sahuayaco (B, L, D)

Pass through secluded valleys with coffee, cacao, and fruit plantations, and explore farming villages like Wiñaypoco and Lluscamayo. Marvel at Machu Picchu citadel views and enjoy homemade meals with breathtaking views of Veronica Mountain and Vilcanota River. Descend to Hydroelectric train station (2 hrs) and rest before continuing to Aguas Calientes town. Check-in to your hotel and coordinate with your guide for the next day’s pickup. Day 5 Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco (B, L)
