Enjoy a delicious lunch stop at Llulluchapampa (3,760 m / 12,335 ft.), where depending on the culinary plan and operating conditions confirmed for your departure, the team may incorporate an Andean-inspired or Pachamanca-style culinary experience.
From Llulluchapampa, continue toward Warmiwañusca — Dead Woman’s Pass — at approximately 4,215 m / 13,829 ft. There is no need to race: your private guide manages the pace around your condition, altitude response and weather.
At the pass, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views and one of the great physical achievements of the journey. After time to rest, begin the long stone descent into the Pacaymayo valley.
Arriving at our Pacaymayo campsite, enjoy a hot shower, a restorative massage, and time to recover before dinner prepared by your culinary team.
While you feast, our knowledgeable guide will share captivating legends passed down through generations, bringing to life the ancient beliefs of Inca Gods, mountain spirits, and the powerful forces of Pachamama (Mother Earth).

Start with an early breakfast before the final stretch to Machu Picchu. As we continue, we approach the sacred Sun Gate (Intipunku), with views of the cloud forest and intricate Inca terraces as we navigate tunnels carved into the mountainside.
At last, we reach the awe-inspiring Sun Gate (2,750 m / 9,020 ft.), where you’ll witness your first magical glimpse of Machu Picchu. The sight of the ancient citadel, framed by towering peaks, is an emotional and truly unforgettable moment.
Unlike travelers arriving by road or train, you enter the Machu Picchu landscape on foot, completing the same mountain corridor that makes the Classic Inca Trail extraordinary.
After descending toward the citadel, explore with your guide, capture photos, and enjoy a gourmet lunch in Aguas Calientes.
