  • Program Schedule: (Please note that the below timings are for referential purposes only and may vary depending on train schedules, your physical condition, pace and unforeseen circumstances)
  • Please consider that our prices from 2 people onward are based on double and triple accommodation, if you would like to have a single tent then the supplement will be of $ 489.00 per person.
  • Train stations and train schedules are subject to availability, also due to rainy season Poroy train station is closed from January to April of each year.
  • The walking sticks are not included, but if you prefer we can arrange to provide you a pair of basic poles (Standard Brand) without any charges; you just need to ask in advance to your travel specialist.
  • If you would like to climb to Huayna Picchu Mountain, please take in mind that is an unguided hike, require an additional cost and involve starting the hike at 03:00 am on the 4th day. If you are interested, please consult with your travel specialist as we need to check availability far in advance.

Itinerary: Luxury Classic Inca Trail – 5 Days

Day 1 Cusco to Wayllabamba: A Spiritual Awakening (L, D)

 
“Embark on the Inca Trail as the sun rises over Cusco. Private transportation takes you to Km 82, with a stop in Ollantaytambo. Expert guides lead you through breathtaking archaeological sites and lush flora. Arrive at Wayllabamba campsite, nestled in the Andes, and indulge in luxurious amenities: hot showers, spa wellness, and gourmet dinner. Unwind amidst nature’s splendor, prepared for the adventure ahead.”

Day 2 Wayllabamba to Pacaymayo: Spa Wellness Bliss (B, L, D)

 
“Begin the day with a delightful breakfast, followed by a 1.5-hour hike to Ayapata Ravine, surrounded by lush forests and crystal-clear waters. Enjoy a picturesque lunch at Llulluchapampa, overlooking breathtaking vistas. Conquer the Warmiwañusca Pass (4,215m) and capture stunning photos. Day 3 Pacaymayo to Phuyupatamarca: Stargazing Delight (B, L, D)

“Start the day with a rejuvenating spa session and spiritual awakening amidst nature. Hike to Runkurakay’s enigmatic circular ruins (1hr) and enjoy breathtaking views. Explore Sayacmarca’s ancient Inca Town and Chaquicocha’s mystic charm, savoring gourmet lunch. Conquer Phuyupatamarca Pass (3,640m) for sweeping valley views. Unwind at camp with a hot shower, spa wellness, and stargazing. Share a delightful dinner with your porters on their final night, celebrating an unforgettable journey.
 

Day 4 Phuyupatamarca to Machu Picchu: A Divine Arrival (B, L, D)

Rise early for the final leg of your journey. Hike to Wiñaywayna (1hr), the ‘Land of Orchids’, and ascend to Intipunku, the Sun’s Gate (1.5hrs), for a breathtaking Machu Picchu sunrise. Descend to the citadel (1hr) and uncover its secrets with a guided tour. Enjoy lunch at Belmond Sanctuary Lodge hotel. Day 5 Machu Picchu to Cusco (B)

 

Experience Machu Picchu’s majesty with an early morning guided tour. Explore the citadel at leisure, with optional hikes to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain for breathtaking views. Enjoy lunch at Belmond Sanctuary Lodge Hotel. Return to Aguas Calientes, board your train, and our representative will escort you back to your Cusco hotel.
